World Cup Finals Historic Return to Aspen
Excitement is in the air as Aspen prepares to host the 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals March 15 – 19. It has been 20 years since the internationally famous alpine races have been held in the United States and 50 years since its inception. The races will feature the world’s top-ranked men and women ski racers as they compete in downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and a team event. Aspen has a long history of World Cup ski racing. It was the first city outside of Europe to host the World Champions in 1950 and is a regular stop on the FIS World Cup circuit. Watch as the athletes take on the steep and challenging faces of Aspen Mountain. Enjoy the various activities in World Cup Village at Wagner Park, including U.S. Team Autograph Signing, Family Fun Zone and Bud Light Hi-Fi Concerts. Admission is free for all events.
