Dear Clients and Friends,
I wanted to reach out during this tenuous time with an on-the-ground update from the Roaring Fork Valley.
While the Aspen Valley has not been immune to Covid-19 (our community has been affected by closures of all four ski resorts, schools, restaurants, theatres, retail stores, and most public spaces), there is also an upside to being in our remote mountain paradise: the outdoors remains open. Locals continue to get plenty of fresh air and Vitamin D - the best medicine there is. We continue to play outside at recommended distances. People continue to “earn their turns,” skinning up the mountain and skiing down (now without restricted hours and with our dogs). We are hiking up Smuggler, mountain, and road biking. We are taking long walks, and spending time with our loved ones. As for me, I am hanging out at Dopkin Ranch where I am riding my beautiful horses and walking our new Bernice Mountain Dog, and loving that four-legged special time.
We are also seeing the benefits of our small town, close-knit community, helping our friends, neighbors, and people in need. Please email me at

A few updates on events, Music Festival is now changed to July 13th start date to August 19th. The Food and Wine is canceled and so is the Ideas Festival, what is still on is the beautiful Rocky Mountain Summer. So hopefully travel bans will be released and you can come to the most beautiful place I know for a Rocky Mountain Fix. If so, please let me know, and hopefully, stop by the ranch to see or ride my fabulous new Icelandic Horses and say hi. Of course, if you want to shop for Real Estate, I’d love to go shopping with you!
